Experience the majestic white-tailed eagle in its natural habitat. At Smøla you have a fantastic opportunity to get up close to this magnificent bird. Smøla has one of the world's densest populations of white-tailed eagles, which means there are good chances of getting up close to the bird.
How does a sea eagle safari take place?
Join us on our specially built boat. There is plenty of room for everyone and a good view in all directions. Together with a knowledgeable guide with extensive experience from sea eagle safaris, we set course outward towards the areas where we know the bird normally resides. There are fantastic experiences for everyone, especially popular with families and photographers. Sea eagles guaranteed!
Private Sea Eagle Safari
Do you want a sea eagle safari outside of our regular departures or do you want a more private and exclusive experience with the boat for yourself?
We can then set up private white-tailed eagle safaris almost every day, both in and out of high season, by appointment.
Private tours are perfect for families, photographers, smaller groups or for those who want a little more flexibility with timing and arrangements.

Experience sea eagle safaris in the warm light of sunrise or sunset.
This is the time when the landscape shows its most beautiful side, with calmer light, a seaside atmosphere and great opportunities for unique nature experiences and photography.
You rent the entire boat, with room for 6 people. We meet 15 minutes before sunrise or 1 hour 45 minutes before sunset.
The trips are set up by appointment and are perfect for photographers, couples or those who want a slightly more special experience out at sea.
