GENERAL TERMS
Parties
The seller is Smøla Naturopplevelser AS, organisation number 819 418 462, hereafter referred to as “Smøla Naturopplevelser”.
The buyer is the person or company making the booking or reservation.
Services
Smøla Naturopplevelser offers guided boat tours and nature experiences on Smøla, including sea eagle safaris, RIB tours, archipelago safaris, Grip expeditions, photography hides and tailor-made experiences.
Duration, content, departure location and departure time may vary between tours and will be specified during booking or agreement.
Booking and payment
A booking becomes binding once confirmed by Smøla Naturopplevelser.
Prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT unless otherwise specified.
Payment is made through the agreed payment solution, invoice or other agreed arrangement.
Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for arriving at the agreed meeting point and departure time.
All participants must follow instructions given by the guide or captain. Smøla Naturopplevelser reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone behaving in a way that may affect safety on board or the experience of other guests.
Safety and Weather Conditions
All tours are conducted with safety as the highest priority. Weather and sea conditions on Smøla may change rapidly, and the captain/guide always has the final decision regarding all safety assessments.
Wildlife and Nature Experiences
Smøla Naturopplevelser aims to provide all guests with close and memorable encounters with sea eagles, but sightings of sea eagles and other wildlife can never be fully guaranteed, as nature is unpredictable and experiences may vary from tour to tour.
Privacy
Personal information is processed only in connection with bookings, customer communication and the delivery of services, and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
Disputes
Any disputes shall first be attempted resolved amicably. If no agreement is reached, Norwegian law applies.
CANCELLATION, CHANGES AND REFUND
No right of withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal on purchases of boat trips and activities that take place on a fixed date or time, cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act §22.
Cancellation from customer
In the event of cancellation, the following applies:
• More than 14 days before departure: full refund
• 3–14 days before departure: 50% refund
• Less than 72 hours before departure: no refund
• No-shows will not result in a refund.
Delay or no-show
If the customer arrives late or does not show up at the agreed time, the booking is considered completed and will not be refunded.
Changes due to weather or safety
Smøla Naturopplevleser reserves the right to change:
• departure time
• departure point
• route
• duration
• type of vessel
• or date
if weather, wind, sea or safety conditions make this necessary.
Cancellation or change from the organizer
If a trip cannot be carried out as planned, Smøla Naturoppwellser can offer:
• new time
• alternative tour
• gift card/voucher for later use
Force majeure
Smøla Naturopplevseler is not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, technical problems, government restrictions, illness or other unforeseen events that make implementation impossible or unreasonable.
